Roborace: drone racing car and the future of Formula
It was recently presented Roborace is the first car of the future races. This machine is controlled by artificial intelligence without human intervention, and it does not even have a place for the driver.
Roborace Concept uses electric traction and is controlled by artificial intelligence.
This is the work of the former Bugatti and Volkswagen engineer Daniel Simon, who joined the project Roborace as chief designer.
This machine will participate in the FIA championship generated unmanned vehicles that will be performing on tracks for racing Formula-E. In this series of ten commands are presented on two machines each.
Simon worked with the race engineer on the basis that Roborace intends to become a reality for a series of demonstration runs by the rules of Formula-E in 2017. Besides racing, Simon worked on the design of films Oblivion and Tron: Legacy, as well as creating drones, motorcycles, spaceships and cars Le Mans.
