Hyundai N 2025 Concept for the game Gran Turismo has got 871-horsepower engine
Hyundai has introduced a virtual concept supercar N 2025 for the racing simulator Gran Turismo 6. The machine equipped with the power plant, the impact of which is 871 horsepower. It is composed of four electric motors (one at each wheel), set the hydrogen cell and supercapacitor accumulating braking energy.
The weight of the vehicle is 972 kilograms thanks to the use in the construction of carbon elements. The Hyundai is believed that such a power to weight ratio corresponds to the “most exotic” modern supercars. N 2025 has a low center of gravity and a low coefficient of drag.
In addition, the Hyundai designers have implemented in the virtual concept car special duct system, which is a tube, which extend along the sides of the sports car radiator grille to the rear axle, which creates additional downforce. A similar solution is applied in a real racing sport prototype Nissan GT-R LM Nismo.
Also, the N 2025 turbine is capable to spin up to 200 thousand revolutions per minute. Together with the sounds that emit a cooling system for a fuel cell and an electric motor, it creates a “special racing roar.”
