Firefly: a concept car for 5-years-old children

The British company Young Driver Motor Cars Limited today announced the creation of a prototype all-electric two-seater designed specifically for children aged 5 to 10 years. The developers claim that the way kids in childhood acquire driving skills. The company recently introduced its first prototype, called the Firefly, where you can find many of the features that are in the “adult” cars.

Since the mini-car is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, steering ratchet, working headlights and turn signals, as well as independent suspension, the Firefly should not be considered as a toy.

Twin electric car can accelerate to a maximum speed of 16 km / h, and it is only in the “experienced”. And in the “Junior” car can be dispersed only to 8 km / h.
Two engines are equipped with two separate 12-volt batteries, which can run continuously for up to nine hours without recharging. Display based on the tablet while driving will display the current speed, time, and battery power supply.
