BMW 6-Series Prototype

Last September new prototype of BMW 6-Series was presented at the Paris Motor Show. The appearance of the concept car was developed under the leadership of new chief designer Adrian van Hooydonk from BMW – the car is a lot like a new 5-Series, but it looks more dynamic and elegant. In addition, the prototype first appeared in full LED headlamps, which are expected to be set to the top version of the serial sport coupe.

BMW 6-Series will retain the rear-wheel drive (although in the future it is possible that the emergence of all-wheel drive models will take place), and will be equipped with six-and eight-cylinder engines with turbocharging. Overall length of the vehicle is about 4820 mm, width – 1855 mm, height – 1375 mm. The size of luggage space is 450 liters. In addition, the new “six” BMW received upgraded iDrive multimedia complex with a large, 10-inch display on the front panel and the projection function of the main computer reading and navigation system on a car windshield. Top versions 6-Series, are expected to be equipped with audio components, Bang & Olufsen 16-speaker and a digital processor.
