Peugeot will Make a XY Concept a Serial Car

French car maker Peugeot plans to launch a conceptual model of the 208 XY to the serial production.
One of the main differences that this great concept car has from its fellows is that it has a unique color of the body, called the Purple Night. In addition, the production version of the concept will receive five additional colors. New concept will also borrow some elements from its fellow 208 GTi, including the grille and flared wheel arches. Serial 208 XY will also receive a unique mirror caps, fog lamps, rear bumper and trim 17-inch wheels.

On the inside the new vehicle will be trimmed in alcantara and black leather. Company representatives say that they will offer a lot of personalization options for the cabin. The composition of the options will include news media system with a 7-inch display and navigation, “atmospheric” lighting and a panoramic roof. The French company plans to unveil the production version of the concept Peugeot 208 XY at the Paris Motor Show. It is expected that the European market will see the novelty with four power units, the composition of which will be composed of both gasoline and diesel.
