The decline in sales of the PSA Peugeot Citroen concern is pushing the manufacturer to introduce to the market some new and creative models, one of which will be a compact crossover 2008. At the international motor show in Paris French company Peugeot showed to the public a new “SUV” 2008. The car, which has an internal code designation A94, was designed on the platform of the great crossover Mitsubishi ASX, and its staff also designed the exterior of the car. The new model length will be 4140 mm and it will be the small “rogue” in the product line of the manufacturer.

Range of engines, according to the Italian edition of Quattroruote, will make petrol engines from 1.2 to 1.6 liters in capacity range of 82-120 hp and 1.6-liter diesel engine, which, depending on the version developed 92 or 114 hp. New Peugeot 2008 Crossover will go on the market in a mono-drive performance and also all-wheel drive. The main rival model, whose market entry is scheduled for 2015, will be the Nissan Juke, Opel Mokka and Chevrolet Trax. The crossover will be focused on the markets of Asia, China, India and the countries of Western Europe. The cost of the new small concept is about 13 000 Euros.
