Small hatchback Renault Kwid – Racer was adapted for racing and off-road

Renault has unveiled at Auto Expo in New Delhi two conceptual version of a small hatchback Kwid – Racer racing and all-terrain Climber. Prototypes released to celebrate the success of marketable models in the Indian car market, which gathered about 90 thousand orders for four months.

Renault Kwid Racer got aggressive aerodynamic body kit, 18-inch alloy wheels with low-profile tires, the red insert, black roof and rear spoiler and diffuser.
Inside, there were racing front seats with four-point belts, a sport steering wheel and the front panel, covered with Alcantara. From the back row of seats it was decided to refuse to make room for the security framework.

Renault Kwid Climer differs from the standard model, increased ground clearance, the other wheels, as well as the presence of the protective plates in front and rear. The prototype also received insert blue and LED daytime running lights.
At the moment, Renault Kwid offered with 0.8-liter 54-horsepower engine, and is paired with a five-step “mechanics”. Prices of the hatchback start from 260 thousand rupees (3.8 thousand dollars).
