Pininfarina Concept Car

New concept car named after the founder of the studio, Sergio Pininfarina, will has his name and will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show. Italian design studio and coachbuilder Pininfarina cars released a teaser of a new concept car “Sergio,” which will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March. “Innovative and exclusive” prototype is intended as a tribute to the death of the Italian style maestro Sergio Pinifarina in July 2012.

Sergio joined the firm of his father and headed it from 1961 to 2001. Largely due to his efforts the business of car body shops, one of which was “Pininfarina”, didn’t ceased to exist. Under the leadership of Pininfarina company released a huge number of design projects for production cars, and for prototyping, including Alfa Romeo, Bentley, Chevrolet, Volvo, Maserati and Ferrari. In particular, the model Ferrari Enzo 2002 and Ferrari Testarossa 1984 were created under his leadership.
