New Opel Mokka appeared to be one of the most attractive offerings for the potential buyers. By October 2012 the Opel company received more than 40,000 orders for this model. In Germany, the UK, Italy and Russia the demand for SUV is especially great.

With its great model with interesting name Mokka Opel became the first German manufacturer to introduce in fast-growing segment the subcompact crossover (SUV-B). The new concept, and already maybe a serial car, Mokka comes with a 1.8-liter engine producing 140 hp. In the range of engines for the car some additional options are also included like turbo petrol engine with 140 hp and 1.7-liter 130-hp diesel. Despite the length of only 4.28 meters, Mokka offers excellent fit and comfort for 5 people. Mokka is the first car in the subcompact crossover market, and is equipped with ergonomically designed seats, Adaptive Forward Lighting (AFL +), as well as an integrated system for bicycle FlexFix. This small crossover is equipped with Dynamic Stability Control system (ESC). In all versions there is a traction control (TC), a system with hill start (HSA), and the automatic speed control on the down way (HDC).
