Kia will update the GT concept car

The company has developed a new version of Kia concept car GT, which was presented in 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. This is with reference to its sources reported by De Telegraaf.
According to the official publication, a prototype developed under the guidance of Peter Schreyer, has shown some employees of the Korean automaker. He also noted that the new concept car is much closer to the production model than its predecessor, since its creation considered applicable to the vehicles safety standards.

It is expected that a new version of the Kia GT present either at the end of this year or early next. According to De Telegraaf, the prototype could make his debut at the LA Auto Show or Detroit.

In 2011, Kia noted that GT “is not a precursor to a production car, and is a kind of” collection of ideas “and reflects the new design direction.” The prototype, built on a platform of Hyundai Genesis, came with a 3.3-liter six-cylinder turbo engine, combined with eight-diapason “automatic”. Engine output is 395 horsepower and 534 Nm of torque.
