It’s been quite a time since we looked at the French automaker and especially its creative prototypes of the futuristic nature. Therefore today we are going to show you not just one, but two very interesting and quite revolutionary concepts from this great French marquee.

Peugeot has shown during the great Paris Motor Show two concepts under one name – ONYX. The first one was a sports coupe, which is very hard to be called “green” and sustainable, even despite the hybrid power plant installed at its core. This engine of that beauty is the gasoline V8 with the power of 600 horses, which is clearly not designed to save our environment, though, is actually paired with an electric motor (80 hp). But, thanks to the widespread use of carbon fiber, concept weighs just 1,100 kg at its very large size.

Second ONYX is a 3-wheeled scooter that Peugeot called “super-trike.” Its 400-cc engine paired with an electric motor that produces 60 hp, appeared to be enough to propel the unit up to 150 km / h. This great scooter can travel up to 30 miles solely on electric charge, hybrid and fuel consumption in the city is less than two liters per 100 kilometers.
