Three years after the original concept BladeGlider was shown in Tokyo, the Nissan Company unveiled a working prototype of its wedge Bladeglider in Brazil. BladeGlider is a three-seats sporty electric car, which (though Nissan denies it) is very similar to the DeltaWing racing car, for which the Japanese once did the engine.

At first glance, the new product is somewhat similar and a working prototype, which can be seen at the exhibition in Brazil. However, the rear part of the machine has been narrowed (as compared to the initial prototype) and the front vice versa – expanded, giving greater stability of cars and better weight balance. Total length BladeGlider is 4 300 mm, width – 1850 mm, and height – 1300 mm. Wheelbase is 2800 mm.

Striking open cockpit design in a wedge shape underlines the doors in the form factor “reverse butterfly” that open backwards and upwards. The unique design of the car is characterized by sharp corners and edges chopped.
