At one time it seemed truly unthinkable to transfer radio and TV signals through the air, and then the wireless Internet came to the existence. Now all of these things are used in our everyday life with the billions of people throughout the world. A few years later in the same familiar fashion it may become fairly reasonable to think that a charging electric vehicles without any electrical cables will be quite common. The first such vehicle presented was the great Infiniti LE concept at the Auto Show in New York earlier this year!

Nissan has introduced some time ago a wireless charging technology for cars which is possible with the help of electromagnetic induction. However, it seems, that against all expectation, the first production of a vehicle of this type will not be the concept of Nissan Leaf, but the Nissan Infiniti LE. Nissan Infiniti LE – is an electric sedan with a very sleek forms (coefficient of aerodynamic drag in it is equal to 0.25, and this is one of the best in the world!). This car has the engine capacity of 136 horsepower and a 24-kilowatt battery. On one full charge of its batteries Infiniti LE will be able to travel about 160 kilometers without any additional tanking or charging.
