Hydrogen Toyota FCV Plus will be turned into a mobile energy sources

Toyota introduced at the Tokyo Motor Show concept car FCV Plus, giving an idea of the future of hydrogen cars. Representatives of the company are confident that in the future these cars will be not only a vehicle but to act as a mobile energy sources.

Overall length was the prototype is 3800 millimeters, width – 1750 mm and height – 1540 millimeters. The size of the wheelbase is 3000 millimeters.
FCV Plus is equipped with four electric motors mounted in each wheel. Engines powered by fuel cells that generate energy in a chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen. Fuel cell unit is located between the front wheels and the hydrogen tank is located behind the second row seats.

The prototype is capable of generating electricity by supplying hydrogen, not only from its own fuel tank, but also from external sources. Thus, the machine can serve mobile generator providing electricity surrounding infrastructure.
Currently Toyota serially produces only one hydrogen model – Mirai.
