Concept car Maserati Tramontane: eco-friendly luxury supercar

Designers of expensive and powerful cars do not forget about the suffering of ecosystems. Supercar Concept Maserati Tramontane created from safe eco-friendly materials, and its motor has impressive specifications. The author is Czech design student Ondrej Jirec, as part of his studies at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena.
The car body is designed by designer Ondrej Jirec, consists of four layers. The outer layer is made of glass, mounted on a solid black frame fastened to the chassis. On the second layer located some elements of the instrument panel and headlights. Third – shockproof layer – covered underbody and rear dimensions. Under the fourth layer is hidden engine, and outside it is the basis for the dashboard.

Simple and comfortable interior Tramontane assumes helm display, with which you can manage multiple functions of the car. Concept is equipped with two electric motors, one for each axle. In Jirec’s own words the Maserati Tramontane is “a lightweight electric luxury supercar. Its design philosophy is simplification and emotion. The idea behind this concept is to reduce the number of body parts, lower the overall weight, and simplify the building process by combining exterior and interior elements.”
