BMW has replicated the first pictures of their new concept that all BMW fans have already know in every details. New concept will be the precursor to the production model. The beauty is that the BMW Active Tourer (the title of a new concept car) is the first front wheel drive car from “Bavarians”. BMW Active Tourer will be based on Monocab BMW 1 Series GT, which is primarily intended to compete with the Mercedes-Benz B-class.

Concept car from BMW has a length of 4350 mm, width stretches to 1834 mm, and from the ground to “crown” there are 1560 mm. The car is a great choice for a large family that needs comfort and space in the cabin. Actually BMW Active Tourer is a show-car. It looks cool with its ne panoramic roof «Cool Shade», transparency is adjustable, you can also customize the displayed visualization. The concept has a hybrid propulsion system, which consists of a petrol turbo 1.5-liter (drives the front wheels) and an electric motor spins up the rear axle. In sum, the combination of internal combustion engines and electric motors produces 190 units of power. If you believe the words of the company, the car with this engine can get to the “hundreds” in less than eight seconds and put the arrow of a speedometer on a mark of 200 km / h at the max. The most interesting and “tasty” fact is the car’s fuel consumption. Again referring to the officials of BMW, the car consumes an average of 2.5 liters.
